Urban Oasis, located in Chicago's Humboldt Park, reimagines aging, health, and community through a people-centered approach to wellness, culture, and food. The project combines senior housing, urban farming, health clinics, and community spaces such as greenhouses, markets, and galleries. It employs modular strategies, passive design, and layered circulation to promote adaptability and connection. Urban Oasis has received the Spectacular Design Award, been nominated for the Graduate Design Excellence Award, and was showcased at the 2025 Venice Biennale. This initiative envisions a regenerative and equitable urban future.
